As the spring golf season officially tees off in Metro Vancouver, Canada Golf Academy (CGA) students are already making their mark on the leaderboard. At this Monday’s Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) season opener at Hazelmere Golf Course, CGA juniors delivered outstanding performances, securing a phenomenal start to the 2026 season.
Adding to the excitement, this tournament also served as an official qualifying event for the prestigious FCG World Championship, drawing a highly competitive field. Despite the pressure, our CGA young athletes stayed focused and executed their game plans brilliantly:
- 🥇 James showcased incredible composure and skill, capturing the Champion title in the Boys 9-10 Division!
- 🥈 Kevin put together a fantastic round, securing the Runner-up position in the highly competitive Boys 11-12 Division!
As we always say, the scorecard only respects the reps you put in when no one is watching. These remarkable results are a direct reflection of the hard work, dedication, and rigorous winter training both players put in at the CGA indoor facility over the past few months.
The entire CGA coaching staff is incredibly proud of James and Kevin. Their success is not only a major personal milestone but also a great inspiration to all our academy students.
With the 2026 tournament season just beginning, we look forward to seeing more CGA players tee it up, compete, and grow on the course. Let’s go CGA!
